Many of you have been waiting with bated breath for the start-up of our Accelerated Reading Program at Foothill Ranch, so take a deep breath and R-E-A-D!! ARP is a program for grades 1-6. Under the direction of Mrs. Quon, Media Aide, and Mrs. Kay, Librar ian, ARP provides encouragement and recognition as students improve their reading skills.
Students are selecting and reading ARP books (with dots) from the library and testing on computers in their classrooms and the library during school hours. There are many more tests than we currently have books available in our library. This would provid e a perfect opportunity to visit the public library and check out books for ARP.
Parent volunteers are needed to work with the students and program. Please contact your child's teacher or Mrs. Quon if you can help.
